- We accept all types of cars and trucks.
- My car is not running. May I still donate?
- Yes, most vehicles are accepted, running or not. To find out if we can accept your vehicle, please call 888-333-6222, or fill out the online donation form
- May I donate my car with a defective engine or other mechanical problem?
- Yes! Even 'clunkers' have some value.
- What if my car didn't pass the emissions test?
- Even if it failed it we'll be happy to accept it.
- Will you pick up the car?
- Yes! United Society picks up your car at a time that is convenient for you.
- Do I have to be home when you pick up the car?
- No! Just clean the car of any personal belongings and leave the keys and title under the dashboard.
- What if I don't have my title?
- Unfortunately, United Society is unable to pick up your donation without a valid title.
- Is there any expense involved on my part, such as towing?
- No. There is absolutely no charge.
- How long will it take before my car is picked up?
- We can usually pick it up within 24-48 hours of your initial contact with us.
- What areas do you service?
- We service the entire United States of America. Start your donation process today!
- What are the tax benefits in donating my car?
- United Society is classified 501(c)(3) charity organization. You will receive a tax benefit when you donate a vehicle. In fact, the fair market value of your vehicle can be deducted with our program.
- How does the donation process actually work?
- First, contact our office via phone or email. We will then pickup your car or truck and leave with you a receipt to use for your tax deduction. We then take the vehicle to our facility and match it with a low-income family that qualifies.
